Catalyze is a non-profit incubating the next generation of critical organizations in AI safety, security & resilience. We bring together co-founders, world-class experts, and mission-oriented funders.
Catalyze has incubated ~15 AI safety organizations to date, both for- and non-profits. The majority has raised 6 or 7 figures in funding, building solutions in areas ranging from AI control to AI governance, or hardware security.
How we support founders
Our support is designed to help you move quickly while founding an organization aiming to address a crucial challenge. We currently focus on providing highly customized 1-on-1 support on areas such as:
- Direction & strategy: We work closely with you to sharpen your exploration methodology and help you identify the highest-impact AI safety problem to tackle with your (soon-to-be) organization.
- Co-founders: We connect you with potential collaborators who complement your skills and share your mission.
- Mentorship & expert network: You access support from the Catalyze Impact team and external industry experts & experienced entrepreneurs.
- Seed funding: Get funded through our seed funding network of grantmakers and investors, and receive a stipend from us so you can focus full-time on founding.
